Sandringham House Works

From 1 July, scaffolding will be sympathetically erected over a proportion of Sandringham House to prepare for maintenance works to begin, the first extensive work on the roof since 1870.

This programme of essential restoration will include repairing and replacing tiles, roof vents and glass windows, conducting joinery repairs, and repointing chimney stacks.

There will be minimal disruption to the visitor experience, with phase 1 of works expected to be complete in late Autumn.
