The Courtyard at Sandringham
A range of facilities in the Courtyard cater for everything from a light bite to a sweet treat or ice cream. The Courtyard is also home to our Shop, which stocks an extensive range of Estate products.
Eating
The relaxed Sandringham Restaurant caters for all the family and serves a range of tasty dishes and drinks, many featuring produce from the Estate. It is open daily from 9.30am-4.30pm, with last orders at 3pm.
Breakfast is served from 9.30-11.30am and lunch from midday-3pm.
Children’s menus are available, and there is also a designated dog-friendly area.
Sunday Lunch will be available from 13 October – 22 December.

Afternoon Tea in the Restaurant is the perfect treat to round off your visit or celebrate a special occasion with all the family.
Our Afternoon Tea is served on Chelsea botanical porcelain, a design closely derived from a large collection acquired by Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, and includes traditional recipes using many seasonal products grown on the Estate and the finest ingredients sourced locally. A Children’s Tea is also available. Choose from a Classic Tea served with a range of Sandringham blend teas or a Sparkling Tea served with a glass of Prosecco. From 12 October – 23 December sittings are at 2pm (unless stated otherwise).
Afternoon Tea must be pre-booked at least 48 hours in advance. Vouchers for Afternoon Tea, which can be sent in a gift-wrapped box, can be purchased via the online shop.
The Terrace Takeaway Café offers snacks on the go for when you’re exploring extensive Royal Parkland. During the Main season the Stables Cafe also opens.
The Terrace opens daily from 9.30am-4.30pm and the Stables from 10am-4pm on days the Gardens open to the public. Both offer takeaway drinks, light lunches and tempting cakes.
