The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Extended Bank Holiday Weekend Events

Over the extended Bank Holiday weekend in June, celebrations will take place at Sandringham to mark The Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

A Special Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea and picnic 'Platinum Tea' are available to pre-book to enjoy either in the Restaurant or the Royal Parkland. All Afternoon Tea must be pre-booked in advance.

Friday 3 June

Welsh Superstar Mezzo Soprano Katherine Jenkins OBE will perform a very special live outdoor evening music concert in Sandringham Royal Parkland joined by special guests The Military Wives Choirs. Katherine will be performing hits from throughout her career with symphony orchestra, traditional proms finale.

Saturday 4 June

Saturday 4 June is set to be a jam packed day see here for activities taking place during the day.

In the evening a live screening of the "Platinum Party at the Palace" (sold out event) will be shown on the big screen in the Royal Parkland on Saturday 4 June.

Sunday 5 June

The weekend will conclude with a Pageant of Motoring showcasing seven decades of motoring, live music and aerial displays alongside a variety of culinary delights, antique markets and a vintage fair.

Her Majesty The Queen at Sandringham: An Exemplary Reign and a Unique Country House, From April – October 2022

A special exhibition inside the Ballroom at Sandringham House is on display until 13 October and formal commemorative planting will begin in the Gardens from May.

Her Majesty The Queen at Sandringham: An Exemplary Reign and a Unique Country House, is this year’s special exhibition at Sandringham forming part of the visit to the House. The exhibition showcases The Queen and the Royal Family’s affection for the much-loved country retreat. Highlights of the exhibition include objects and photographs relating to The Queen’s love of animals, horses and the great outdoors, as well as a special audio-visual display focusing on the very first televised Christmas Day speech broadcast from 1957, recorded by The Queen at Sandringham House.
