Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations at Sandringham

To mark the historic occasion of The Queen's Platinum Jubilee, celebrations will take place throughout 2022.

Her Majesty The Queen at Sandringham: An Exemplary Reign and a Unique Country House, From April – October 2022

A special exhibition inside the Ballroom at Sandringham House will go on display from 9 April – 13 October, with formal commemorative planting in the Gardens from May.

Her Majesty The Queen at Sandringham: An Exemplary Reign and a Unique Country House, is this year’s special exhibition at Sandringham forming part of the visit to the House. The exhibition will showcase The Queen and the Royal Family’s affection for the much-loved country retreat. Highlights of the exhibition include objects and photographs relating to The Queen’s love of animals, horses and the great outdoors, as well as a special audio-visual display focusing on the very first Christmas Day speech broadcast from 1957, recorded by The Queen at Sandringham House.

The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Extended Bank Holiday Weekend Events

Further celebrations will take place over the Bank Holiday weekend in June, beginning with the traditional lighting of the Jubilee beacon on Thursday 2 June.

Katherine Jenkins and The Military Wives will perform a very special live outdoor music concert on Friday 3 June and a live screening of the "Platinum Party at the Palace" will be shown on a big screen in the Royal Parkland on Saturday 4 June.

The weekend will conclude with a pageant of motoring showcasing a decade of motoring, live music and aerial displays alongside a variety of culinary delights, antique markets and a vintage fair.

A Special Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea and picnic 'Platinum Tea' will also be available in the Sandringham Restaurant and to enjoy in the Royal Parkland over the June Bank Holiday weekend.
