  • The main House and Country Park which have been open to the public since 1977
  • Sandringham Country Park which welcomes over 250,000 people a year
  • The development of redundant farm buildings for business units for rural employment, including 15 workshops, offices and factories
  • The Sawmill, which converts timber grown in managed forests on the Estate for sale
  • The Apple Juice Factory which produces apple juice sold in the farm shops, Waitrose and other fine food suppliers

cultivating

Agricultural Fitter Sandringham Farms are looking to recruit an experienced Agricultural Fitter whose main responsibilities will be servicing and maintaining our fleet of Agricultural and Estate equipment including tractors, vehicles and small engine machinery in our fully fitted on site workshops.

Candidates will ideally have the following:

  • A broad knowledge across a range of machinery and vehicles
  • Experience in hydraulics and fabrication
  • Experience in vehicle electrics
  • A clean C1 UK driving licence
  • Good time management and prioritisation skills
  • The ability to work as part of a flexible team We offer a competitive package which is negotiable depending on experience.

Country Park Flowers

Grounds Team Leader Candidates will ideally have the following:

  • A formal qualification in horticulture NVQ 2 or equivalent.
  • A clean C1 UK driving licence.
  • At least 3 years relevant horticultural experience.
  • The ability to carry out demanding physical tasks.
  • Good time management and prioritisation skills.
  • The ability to communicate with a range of individuals.
  • The ability to work as part of a flexible team.
  • Ideally have knowledge of maintaining ornamental lawns.
  • Will have demonstrable professional experience in the cultivation, planting and maintenance of a wide range of plants.
  • Have a broad general plant knowledge.
  • Will be able to work collaboratively with the Head Gardener to provide a pleasant working environment for all staff.
  • Will be competent in the use of MS office.
  • Will be capable of sharing your knowledge experience and passion in horticulture with others, through practical demonstrations, interacting with tours and giving talks when required.
