Update: Wednesday 25 November

Following the latest Government Guidelines from Monday 23 November the following information applies when visiting Sandringham.

We are constantly reviewing the updated Government guidance and working with our partners across Norfolk and the UK, to develop detailed and rigorous plans for reopening safely and responsibly. These plans focus on the safety and wellbeing of our visitors, staff and local communities.

Country Park and Car Parks

Car Parks will continue to be open daily from 6am - 9pm with car parking charges in place, in addition the toilet facilities at the Visitor Centre are also open from 9am-4pm.

The toilets are cleaned frequently as per the guidelines and sanitising stations are in place.

The Country park is available for all to exercise as per government guidelines.

Facilities

From Wednesday 3 November the Terrace Cafe will reopen for takeaway hot & cold drinks, snacks and light lunches.

The Sandringham Shop will also reopen from Wednesday 3 November limiting 20 people to the shop at one time. For those of you who would rather have your gifts delivered the Sandringham online will also remain available. Please click here to buy online

Children's Play Area

The play area will remain open however it will be closed for scheduled improvement works from Friday 29 November.

House and Gardens

The House and formal Gardens at Sandringham are now closed for the Winter season and will reopen (Covid-19 restrictions allowing) in 2021.

What are you doing to keep visitors and staff safe?

A sanitising station is located at the Visitor Centre and we have introduced additional cleaning to our already comprehensive routines, with particular focus on surfaces that are touched regularly, such as door handles, hand rails, and toilets. The toilets are being cleaned frequently and our picnic tables have been removed as per the latest guidelines.

Our staff may look a little different as they are wearing appropriate PPE and a screen has been erected at the take away kiosk to protect both our staff and visitors.
