Using wood from the Sandringham Sawmill, the improved Children's Play Area now features structures such as the 26ft tall Water Tower, inspired by a local water tower at Appleton in Norfolk.
A toddler specific play area has also been installed, as well as high-level walkways, improved landscaping and new seating areas. New footpaths and planting around the visitor car parks have also been introduced, to enable better accessibility.
The Children’s Play Area at Sandringham aims to create a memorable experience for family visitors.
Important Information
You do not need tickets to visit the Children's Play area as it is located in the Royal Parkland, however car parking charges apply.
The main part of the children’s play area, including the water tower and sand play, is suitable for children ages 5-12yrs.
