VIN + OMI: ROYAL GARDEN WASTE TO FASHION’S FUTURE

From 23 March - 11 October

Eco innovations from The King’s gardens to VIN + OMI’s catwalks

on Display in Sandringham Ballroom

This spring VIN + OMI will unveil a pioneering exhibition inside Sandringham House.

A collection of 26 innovative garments and accessories, using plant waste taken from Royal Gardens including Highgrove and Sandringham will be brought together for the first time.

The exhibition showcasing the range of sustainable fashion marks the ongoing collaboration between VIN + OMI and His Majesty The King. VIN + OMI’s initial experiments with plant waste from the gardens at Sandringham, produced a dress made from ‘Butterbur’; a prolific spreading plant found growing on the side of the lakes. This world first dress will be on display as part of the exhibition ‘Royal Garden Waste to Fashion’s Future.’

VIN + OMI are award winning, multimedia, designers and consultants who work internationally. Their work flows across many genres with sustainability at the core.
