Terms and Conditions
- Ticket holders will only be admitted on presentation of a valid ticket.
- Dogs are not allowed in Sandringham House or Gardens except for registered assistance dogs.
- Vehicles, including those used for garden maintenance, operate within Sandringham Gardens.
- Visitors and their belongings may be subject to security checks.
- Visitors belongings must not be left unattended.
- All children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult.
- Photography and filming is not allowed in Sandringham House.
- Mobile phones should be switched to silent when using the app and calls are not permitted to be answered unless in an emergency when inside Sandringham House.
- Smoking and the consumption of food and drink is not permitted in Sandringham House.
- Please be aware that as a historic property some paths are uneven and care should be taken.
- The gardens contain areas of open water. Children should always be supervised .
- Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by negligence, Sandringham Estate excludes liability to the fullest extent permitted by law for any loss or damage suffered by any ticket holder or occurring to any items belonging to the ticket holder and will not be liable for any loss or expense due to circumstances – beyond the control of Sandringham Estate.
ONLINE TICKET TERMS & CONDITIONS
Tickets purchased are valid for the date you specify you would like to visit. Please check our opening times. Children under 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times however pre-booking a ticket is still required.
Once payment has been confirmed, tickets booked online are reserved for your specified date and time. You MUST bring your booking barcode with you, along with a valid proof of identification. In date ID will be required upon entry for registered carers, RHS, HHA, Blue Light members and pass holders.
Sandringham operates a policy of tickets booked online are strictly non-refundable. Tickets purchased online cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
If you cannot make your booking date for any reason, you must advise us in advance of your visit and we will try to transfer your tickets in advance to another day* (availability permitting). You have a maximum of 14 days from the date of the cancelled booking to rebook your new date.
Ticket delivery – Your Booking Reference will be sent straight away to the email address you supplied. At busy times, please allow a couple of minutes for this to arrive and remember to check your junk mail folder if it isn’t in your inbox. Please bring this ticket with you on the day.
Sandringham Estate reserves the right to discount the cost of tickets without having to refund existing ticket holders. The ticket remains the property of Sandringham Estate and is not for re-sale, is non-refundable and non-transferable. The management reserves the right to refuse admission to any ticket holder and, in the interest of the public and for safety reasons, we also reserve the right to request guests to leave the Estate at any time.
Credit/debit card transactions are passed directly from the card machine to the merchant holder. Sandringham Estate does not hold any of this data.
Sandringham Estate endeavour to ensure that as many of our areas open to the public are available for use. However, we reserve the right, without prior notice to close and change operating hours. Sandringham Estate reserves the right to close the whole or any part of the Estate, or to restrict the number of guests having access to areas. The reason for any closure or restriction may include technical or operational reasons, capacity, inclement weather, special events or to ensure the Health & Safety, and security of guests if we consider the circumstances require it.
Adverse weather conditions may be a factor as to whether certain areas such as the Children’s Play Area, Gardens, are closed, but this is for your safety. No refunds or discounts are applicable during this time.
Important notifications are shown on our website www.sandringhamestate.co.uk and on our social media channels and app, if applicable. Please check for details or before you visit to save any disappointment.

Sandringham Estate Annual Pass (Membership)
Sandringham Estate Membership is valid for 12 months from date of purchase so you can visit as many times as you like before then, subject to the normal conditions of entry and is only valid to visit the House and Gardens for days of which they are open.
Sandringham Estate Members still need to pre-book their tickets, particularly when purchasing extra tickets. We advise pre-booking during our busier periods at weekends, Bank Holidays, School holidays to guarantee your entry – if we reach our capacity, we cannot admit anyone without a booking.
You will need a valid Sandringham Estate Member Card, which MUST be shown when visiting the Estate or admission will be charged, which is non-refundable.
Sandringham Estate Membership is issued to an individual, is not transferable and only valid when they contain a photograph of the holder. Your photograph will be taken on your first visit/entry to the Estate and held on your account.
The management reserves the right to refuse entry or discounts if a valid Sandringham membership is not produced.
Sandringham Estate reserve the right to cancel a Membership without refund if the member knowingly allows a third party to use their card.
Days of closure will remain under review as will pricing.
All Sandringham Estate Members are subject to the normal conditions of entry.
Upgrade to a Sandringham Estate Membership on the day of your visit and we will deduct your day ticket entrance fee off your new pass(es). Guests upgrading admission tickets to a Membership must have their own admission ticket for upgrading. Another person’s admission ticket cannot be used. This can only be redeemed on the day of your visit, from a full priced day ticket only.

The data you supply will only be used for the purpose intended, to advise you of information about the Estate, Season Ticket updates, offers and special events and not passed to any third parties.
If Sandringham Estate is closed subject to circumstances beyond the Park’s control or adverse weather conditions, Sandringham Estate Members are not entitled to a refund – but we can transfer the booking to another date.
Last admissions are 1 hour prior to the House and Gardens closing. This is non-negotiable due to safe operation and closing of these areas.
