February Half Term Willow Lantern

Tuesday 15, Thursday 17, Saturday 19 February, sessions between 12.30 - 3.30pm

£12 per lantern, all ages welcome

Admits up to 1 child + 1 accompanying adult entry to the Gardens when booked on the Lantern Workshop. Under 17's Free. Any additional adults normal admission prices to the Gardens applies.**

This February Half Term enjoy a creative workshop crafting a willow lantern in the Carriage Rooms at the Stables within Sandringham Gardens. Once you've made your lantern, join an atmospheric parade later that day around Sandringham Lake in the Gardens at 4.30pm.

In addition all participants with two accompanying adults will be invited back to a further torch light procession on Thursday 2 June prior to the Official Platinum Jubilee Beacon lighting at 9.45pm. A further email will be sent out regarding this in May.

Important Information

On arrival please make your way to the Information Office in the Courtyard to provide car registration details to validate free parking. If you have any additional adults requiring access to the Garden other than the one per lantern permitted, please purchase these before your arrival online here.

The workshops will take place within the Gardens at the Stables in the Carriage Room which is under cover.

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your lantern making time slot to allow fo walking time from the car park to the lantern workshop venue.

The Lantern parade will take place at 4.30pm starting from the Garden entrance gate so please make sure you are there on time if you wish to take part.

Further information about the Platinum Jubilee parade will be sent out via email in May.
